Context that pertains to the AU I'm currently focusing on: demon!Diavolo had convinced his followers that looking at him is a death wish, so the human ones that haven't been corrupted wear blindfolds to avoid looking at him and Diavolo himself wears this dragon-esqe armor to obscure his visage to everyone except Doppio (and in the case of that yandere fic, Reader).

[These past few weeks felt too unbelievable and too fast for Diavolo- but right here, right now, time seemed to slow to a crawl. Doppio was asleep, his head against his swollen stomach; Diavolo had remembered the siren was singing softly, probably falling asleep to the sound of the child's heartbeat. 'He's probably been through this before.' Diavolo thought, starting to doze off as he tunelessly hummed to himself.]

CW: Semi nudity, just covering bases just in case
I finished the current redesign for demon!Diavolo just a little while ago (which also carries over other AUs aside from Willing Corruption!AU); this form is Diavolo's natural form- while he can assume a human form, he rather prefers this form and has only shown it willingly to Doppio due to their long mutual bond and to better aid the latter in getting used to being a demon. (He hadn't really shown Doppio before things went awry with a ritual, but Doppio was... somewhat aware of Diavolo being not human- what being reasonably just shows up in the middle of the night after one prays night after night with no answer?)

[He didn't need to pray to God anymore. He hadn't needed to in years.
The dark sheltered his form much better than the light filtering through the stained glass windows, the dark robe a comfortable weight around his body. His sympathetic devil helpfully guided him through the rituals, praising him and touching him gently- much more kinder than the other.
"I am very proud of you, my darling Doppio."
Those words lifted his heart than any answered prayer would; a gentle declaration of love and eternal devotion. ]
A companion piece for that angsty piece I did on Thursday, with some slight shipping as well. (This was intended to have a slightly less clothing, but due to time constraints before work, that wasn't possible.)
