How Two Souls Can Interact with One Another: Simone de Beauvoir on Love and Friendship

While waiting for my friend to arrive, I found a secluded picnic table and wrote in my diary. I haven't written in a diary in years! Not a physical one, anyway. I would sometimes write me-only posts on FB, but of course, those weren't really me-only, and now FB locked me out. It felt good to write down my thoughts and feelings, surrounded by trees, with the sounds of the nearby ocean, sea birds, and children playing at the beach.
