Written by #DianeWarren and produced by #RicWake, the song was released in 1990 by #AristaRecords as the third #single from Can't Fight Fate. The track was initially offered to #TinaTurner, who declined it. In the United States, "I'll Be Your Shelter" reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100 and number 15 on the #AdultContemporary chart.
