Soo Diablo ist vernichtet! Hatte die Hoffnung eigentlich schon aufgegeben, aber ein YouTube-Build mit ähnlichen Stats hat mir dann doch wieder Hoffnung gegeben es einfach nochmal zu versuchen.

Und siehe da! Der Deadly Bow war letzten Endes der Game Changer.

Eigentlich bin ich jetzt mit dem Diablo-Ding durch, aber sollte der Remake von Diablo2 mal wieder im PSN-Sale sein, dann hab ich schon ein schönes Spiel für den Winter 🙂

Mein kleiner Ausflug nach Tristram nährt sich dem Ende. Eigentlich wollte ich ja nur den Butcher vermöbeln und nun stehe ich schon vor dem Eingang der Hölle.

Meine Jägerin habe ich schon etwas verbastelt (zu viel in MAGIC investiert).

Aber nochmal anfagen will ich auch nicht. Mal schauen, obs für Diablo reicht.

Premium-Ausrüstung ist keine Einmal-Ausgabe. Die Instandhaltungskosten sind auch viel höher. D.h. bei intensiver Nutzung ist es schwieriger noch Gold für neue Investitionen zu sparen.

Had a blast with the past with #Diablo1 today. Although it is definitely the OG that started it all, I tend to forget how much quality of life improvements its' successor gave.

Killed Lazarus, and I'm at the end - exactly 30 days after starting my run as Alathra the rogue! I like to take it fairly slow, and I have. Now for the big demon himself. I suspect I won't have too much trouble - Lazarus is usually tougher and he was pretty much a breeze. Rogue arrows ftw! Find or buy a good bow!

Down in level 13 (and Alathra is now level 20). Was thankfully able to skip a lot of level 11, as those damn demons there kept surrounding me and killing me- but the succubi and other demons aren't too bad now since I found this BADASS bow that adds 101% damage. Almost breezing through level 13. Only a couple more to go!

Lots of decapitated bodies down here.

Moved the hacked PS1 mini (it has like 80+ games on it now thanks to Autobleem, the most important of them being Diablo) to the living room to start up a new Diablo run. I beat it two years ago in September and I started my run(s) in August 2021. Something about August and fall, I guess. Last time, I tried a sorcerer but struggled til I switched to fighter, which I beat it with. This time, I'm trying a rogue. Never tried rogue before. Should be wild. Time for tons of saving and leaving all my gear on the ground in town! 🤣

Have I done #TenGamesToKnowMe here yet? I forget.

If I have, this is an updated version for 2023. Here's mine, in no particular order.

* Centipede (my favorite game ever. Arcade version! Lemme shoot those bugs!)

* Black Widow (also the arcade version - I'm totally hooked on this one too, and it was a more recent discovery. When I go to an arcade with retro machines, I basically just want to play this and Centipede the whole time.)

* Wolfenstein 3D (a classic, still playable. Who doesn't love killing digital Nazis?)

* Diablo (1, 2, 3, 4, Immortal, any. Just choose one and I love it. What a series. Hooked.)

* Gun Nac (my favorite technical [ship based] shootemup-- if you don't count Centipede as a shootemup. A rare one for the NES. If you like shooters and get the chance to play this, even emulated, don't miss it.)

* Wizodd (I love roguelikes and indie games, and this one is both. Just a cool, simple game that's definitely beatable and replayable. But you won't beat it every time!)

* Mario Kart (another that it doesn't really matter the series, although the Wii one might be my favorite, closely followed by the SNES one. I definitely play the Wii one the most.)

* Doom (1 or 2, preferably. I feel like those are most classic, and those are the ones that got me hooked. More recent ones I'm not as much about, but those first two.. wow.)

* Beam Rider (I'm throwing this in because it's an amazing game for the Atari 2600. Maybe one of the best ones. I feel like it gets overlooked with all the other great ones on the system, River Raid, etc.)

* Beekyr Reloaded (okay, this is a weird one. I was tempted to put Neko Navy or Q-Yo Blaster or another modern indie shootemup that I love in here somewhere instead, but Beekyr is too rad. I love bees and I love shooters, so this one was definitely for me, despite its creator not really being happy with its port.)

Those are my ten, and I'm sticking with them. (At least for today 😂). There are SO MANY other games I love, but these ten are huge.

There's a free app called DevilutionX that allows you to play the original Diablo on mobile. You can jump in and play the demo instantly, and if you have the original game, you can load it up on your phone and play the full version. Pretty wild 🤣
