Der Almabtrieb ist erledigt, ungefähr 400 Teilnehmende waren am Start.
Die ersten 95km waren spritzig und flowig. Dann erinnerte mich mein Di2-Antrieb daran schon länger keine Steckdose gesehen zu haben und belohnte mich auch instant mit dem 12ten Gang, fixed.
Ich wollte daraufhin nicht geizig sein und beglückte den Antrieb mit etwas Eskalation. Jede Welle und jeglicher Gegenwind wurde im Stehen weggedrückt. Das sah für andere Teilnehmende bestimmt etwas martialisch aus, war aber auf den übrigen 70km effektiv :o)

Hat schon mal jemand die Lampen von #Lupine per #Bluetooth mit einer #Shimano #Di2 gekoppelt? Es wäre absolut genial, wenn man mit den freien Knöpfen das Fernlicht steuern könnte und ich mir die eher behelfsmäßig befestige separate Fernbedienung komplett sparen könnte 🤔

Oder auch die Steuerung des Smartphones per Bluetooth! Für iOS gibt es wohl schon eine extra App - die entwickeln aber scheinbar gleich ein ganzes Navi usw. von Grund auf neu, was ich gar nicht brauche. Ist irgendwo dokumentiert, welche Befehle die Di2 senden kann? Im Notfall könnte man die Befehle vermutlich per #Tasker abfangen. Basis-Funktionen wie Display ein-/ausschalten usw. würden schon völlig ausreichen, weil ich nach wie vor ohne Fahrradcomputer fahre.

FB の知り合いがサイクリングを始めたらしく、自転車の写真をアップしていた。「バイクかっこいいね！」とコメントしたら「あざます、安物の 105 Di2 です」と返ってきた。いつから 105 Di2 が安物になったのだ。怒っていいとこっすよね。💢

Hat sich da wer schon Gedanken für unterwegs gemacht? Und #tippsundtricks parat? Das Kabel wiegt laut meiner Waage mit 69 Gramm einfach viel zu viel und Platz raubt es auch wertwollen.

Hat wer Erfahrungen mit...

- Kabel kürzen
- Alternative?
- USB-C-Adapter?

Habe _jetzt_ leider gar nicht mehr viel Zeit bis zum #mittelgebirgeclassique , aber wenn kürzen die Lösung zum Gewicht u Platz halbieren ist, bin ich dabei ;))

Did somebody successfully hook up a #MicroController to react on the extra buttons on a #Shimano #DI2 setup?

I did not find good information about bluetooth/#ANT signals.

For example i want to build turn/brake signal lights or something.

Nach dem Firmware Update von Schaltwerk, Batterie und Shifter war der gesamte Antrieb tot. Keine Reaktion, keine leuchtende Kontrollleuchte, nix.

Da fällt dir alles aus dem Gesicht. Also nicht nur wegen der ggf. anfallenden Reparaturkosten, sondern auch wegen der ggf. erforderlichen Zeit.

Nach dem Duschen und 15 Minuten Ruhe für den Antrieb gab es doch noch ein Lebenszeichen. Glück gehabt :o)

Stupid #Shimano #Di2 charge connector has an intermittent connection fault, which apparently is *very* common with these (€40!) cables.

So instead of buying a new one, I'm going to try and #3dprint a replacement myself. All I have to do now is wait for 2mm pitch pogo pin connectors to arrive and slot them in the connector I “designed”.

FWIW, only the 2 middle pins (of 4) are relevant, those are the + and - 5V pins. The other two don’t do anything I think (or perhaps they allow for some top secret protocol to be passed over USB).

Finally took some time to debug why my #Di2 charging cable only worked intermittently (that is: 95% of the time it doesn’t): the 5V pin isn't soldered properly so it's not making a good contact. Only with some pressure from a specific angle does it work, which indicated a bad solder joint.

Now let's see if I can get in warrantied, because these cables are ridiculously expensive and there don't seem to be any cheap knockoffs.

So on the “new road bike” topic, I’m looking at the #Cube #Attain GTC SLX or the #Canyon #Endurace CF 7.

The Cube has #Di2 and frame-routed brake hoses (none of that headset nonsense), the Canyon looks better and has 35mm tyre clearance (but will I ever mount wide tyres? I don’t think so, that’s what my mountainbike is for).

Incredibly complicated stuff for induction charging #Shimano #Di2 derailleur from another (e-bike?) battery. Do I need to patent myself the obvious thing: capture just a tiny fraction of the braking energy (easily hundred+ watts!) to continuously top off batteries of other components. I'm sure such an energy-siphoning capability could be inserted into a freehub or disc brake caliper as those components need very little energy.
