Laughing at myself as I frog v1 of the #DH2026 souvenir top because of an algorithmic glitch. Both at first and when I double checked several times, I misread *k2tog yo twice k2tog* as *k2tog yo twice* leading to a vast stitch increase every other round. Time to try again! #DHmakes #DHtries

I had more scarves planned, but managed to break two needles on the knitting machine in an interesting new way, snapping them from the bottom rather than the top hook! So those ideas will have to wait until I can get home and do some repairs. #DHmakes #DH2026

For Misun Yun, I ran with the slide that noted there were 40+ volunteers. So I highlighted 40 owls in green thread like the green volunteer shirts. #DHmakes #DH2026

You can't machine knit during a session but embroidery is quiet! For Jae-Yon Lee, I did a sort of abstract version of the logo on some superhero fabric. There are 493 stitches, one for every paper presented at the conference. #DHmakes #DH2026
