Window Treatment Note: To be fair, Dexy was probably first to rip the thin curtain panel a bit when she fell off the top of the loveseat during a snooze. Whisper also likes to perch at that spot, but without incident. Jinx has since added his touches to it, turning it into a feline art project. I have sturdier drapes to replace it, but I’m curious if he’ll manage to turn the panel into a valance first.

The elusive North Dakota Wooly Bear (Nebelungia Dexybella) is considerably larger than the common wooly bear, a lighter shade of black, and forgoes the tacky reddish band seen on most. Unlike most lepidopterans, it emits a deep purr when held, pet or is otherwise pleased. Sighting one is a rare pleasure and folklore suggests it is a harbinger of impending good fortune.

(March 10 at the clinic) The vet gave Dexy high marks for her coat. She does most of her own grooming, but loves the brush. Diet is Solid Gold Indigo Moon (dry), Science Diet Multiple Benefit (dry) and various Fancy Feast (wet).
