A Park Full of Cats – Hunt for Playtime
I played another Devcats game this month, and it was a lot of fun! I mean, what game from these developers isn’t? They have a lot of games coming, but their Full of Cats series remains the most popular.
This one is free and has an additional DLC at a very affordable price.
Instead of multiple areas. There is one big place to pet all the cats, starting with the prelude stage, where we get all the cats back to work and then enter the park.
I saw all the cats from the Devcats team who had side quests of their own. Leo wants some tickets for the rides. Judy is policing unsafe firework usage. Lily is looking for missing kittens. It goes on. I always played these games under the impression that the hint system did not work for missing items other than cats, but it turns out it does.
I was happy to help Catherine the most find her tarot cards, and then she read my fortune!
Also, the best thing I love about these games is not just Easter Eggs from previous game,s but from other fandoms too. Like the new final stage at A Castle Full of Cats was full of them. My personal favourite in this game was petting 4 cats dressed like KISS! So what is the tribute band called then? HISS?
There’s also a DLC for this game, which is reasonably priced, and the proceeds go to a good cause. It becomes accessible once you find all the coins for Lino to go on the Haunted Ride. Then he and Catherine embark on cleansing each stage of the ride from monsters while also finding all the cats. Once all the monsters are found, Catherine will use her magic to finish the job.
Once again, a lot of references were in this part of the game, and there’s a final stage where I went to the monster realm to rescue the remaining cats.
Monsters are just misunderstood, and this game is wholesome as ever. I mean, what game with cats isn’t? Also, there’s a new update for this game coming next month, so I can’t wait to see what it offers.
