Über die Delta Chat App in Hubzilla posten
In den letzten Wochen habe ich Delta Chat / @Delta Chat immer wieder private getestet. Der hybride Server / P2P Ansatz mit den Chatmail Relays finde ich sehr spannend für private Kommunikation in geschlossenen Kreisen.
Nun sind wir dabei in unserem #Verein zu überprüfen ob Delta Chat auch für unsere interne #Vereinskommunikation funktioniert.
Es dauert noch etwas bis alle an Bord sind... und ich sehe auch das Nachrichten nicht immer gleich gelesen werden. Der Gebrauch der App muss sich erst etablieren was wohl seine Zeit braucht.
Für die öffentliche Kommunikation haben wir eine #Hubzilla Installation mit HZ Webseiten und HZ Fedi Kanal. Der Vereinsvorsitzende traut sich hier noch nicht wirklich heran, wodurch die öffentliche Timeline des HZ Kanals ein wenig mager aussieht.
Heute habe ich eine Möglichkeit eindeckt Delta Chat mit dem Hubzilla Kanal zu verbinden, so dass man aus der Delta Chat Messanger App in die Hubzilla Timeline posten kann.
Dies geht über den Umweg mit einem Mastodon Bot von @adb den man hier findet #^https://github.com/deltachat-bot/chatmail2mastodon und den man einfach über diese Seite in Delta Chat installieren kann: #^https://deltachat-bot.github.io/public-bots/#/home
Mit diesem Bot kann man sich über die Masto API mit einem Masto Account verbinden und direkt von der Delta Chat App in eine Masto Timeline hinein posten.
Wir brauchten also für das Vorhaben einen extra Masto Account bei dem wir standardmäßig das Veröffentlichen von Posts so eingestellt haben:
Dann folgt man mit seinem Hubzilla Channel diesem Masto Account und spiegelt die Beiträge dieses Accounts mit der HZ Channel Source App /sources als eigene Beitrage in den eigenen Hubzilla Channel.
Das funktioniert sehr gut und ist für einfache Veröffentlichungen sehr gut geeignet.
Weitere Interaktionen sind so aber über die Delta Chat App und dem Bot mit dem HZ Channel allerdings nicht mehr möglich (also Antworten auf Posts usw.) . Als einfache Möglichkeit Dinge auf unserer Webseite + Fedi Kanal zu veröffentlichen ist dieser Weg aber erst mal für den Einstieg sehr komfortabel.
