#Farmers are and have been told a beautiful fairy tale: a wizard came by the farm and told the farmer: buy my product and all the weeds will disappear leaving only the most beautiful crop.
The farmer believed the wizard. But to pay the wizard he needed more crop so he went to the banker and got more money to buy more land and machines.
The farmer didn't know, or didn't want to know that the wizard and the banker were very good friends and only interested in gold.
In the end the farmer was left with desolate land and had only one option left: buy still more of the wizard's product and lend more of the banker's money.

Now watch this tale out of #Argentina where GM was promoted ten years ago and how well it all worked out.
