Another game I finished recently (and liked a lot as well) is Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew.
It is the last game from the German studio #Mimimi before it was closed a year ago.
Story-wise, it's a story about undead pirates in the cursed Carribbean, with tons of dark and witty humour. Think #PiratesOfTheCarribbean or #MonkeyIsland
Gameplay-wise, it's a #Commandos / #Desperados like with an interesting twist...

Der Soldat Adolf Hitler sitzt im Kino und schaut einen Stummfilm. "#Desperados", ein antibolschewistischer Propagandafilm aus dem Jahr 1919, erzählt von den Versuchen der anarchischen Spartakisten, die Arbeiterschaft zu unterwandern, und von ihrem blutigen Ende. Als der Film ins Kino kommt, sind Rosa Luxemburg und Karl Liebknecht ermordet und die bayerische Räterepublik niedergeschlagen. Der Film ist verschollen und war vergessen, bis Film-Stills und das Treatment auftauchten.
Ein Fund, der die Perspektive auf Revolution und Gegenrevolution in #Bayern schärft. Mit der Behauptung, dass Hitler den Film gesehen hat, untersuchen Rudolf Herz und Julia Wahren die Rhetorik einer Propaganda, die #München's Aufstieg zum "Mekka der Rechten" forcierte. Ihr #Hörspiel spiegelt Recherche, Fakten und Spekulation.

Yeah, new game. 💪
I'm kinda not in the mood for an animated VN like Zero Time Dilemma (and I'm 99% certain that I've finished it before).
Luckily I remembered that I have #Desperados 3 installed. I loved Mimimi's #ShadowTactics and have bought this ages ago. I wanted a "short" break from real time tactics, so...I kinda forgot about it.
It's just as great as I imagined it would be. 🤩
Only played two missions, but it's still fun to strategically dismantle a band of enemies.

La semana pasada terminé mi primera partida de Fallout: New Vegas, y me he quedado prendado para siempre con esta entrega. Tengo muy buenos recuerdos de jugar a Fallout 3 en su momento, pero la calidad de las facciones, los personajes y las historias de las misiones secundarias en New Vegas es otro nivel. Volver a ver una Brotherhood of Steel decadente, en vez de esa caballería todopoderosa de las últimas entregas, y los tejemanejes de la New California Republic para controlar la franja de Las Vegas han hecho que empiece a tener verdadero pánico por lo que Amazon puede hacerle a este maravilloso universo con la serie que estrenan en cosa de un mes. En cualquier caso, siempre me quedará la opción de volver a visitar New Vegas o Fallout 1 y 2 y hacerme un personaje distinto (aunque cada vez cada vez que lo hago, acabo en partidas con 100 puntos en Science, Energy Guns y Lockpick… simple que es uno, qué le vamos a hacer).
Esta semana quiero seguir dándole amor a Balatro, que me está encantando. Tengo prácticamente desbloqueadas todas las barajas, y en breve pretendo empezar con los retos. Pasito a pasito a por el 100% de logros. También ha salido el early access de Backpack Battles, así que parece un buen momento para probar los cambios que han ido introduciendo desde que me probé la demo a finales de 2023. Ah, y ando en dudas de si empezar con los DLC de The Witcher 3 o una partida de Desperados III para no caer en la tentación de pasarme Elden Ring por tercera vez a raíz del hype por el anuncio del DLC… ya veremos.

I just noticed that Desperados III, which is on my wishlist, and Shadow Tactics, which I know from Gameranx videos, are also by Mimimi Games, just as Shadow Gambit which I currently play (and enjoy, since I configured it to my needs). A classic game from THQ Nordic 'Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive' recently got Linux support & now DRM free on GOG!
THQ Nordic didn't just add Linux support but also language support for French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian and English to the main game.
Even more: the lost demo level included.
A great atmosphere straight out of classic Westerns with beautiful hand-drawn levels.
