Not exactly. What the issue is is "the cold parts of Canada are too thinly populated to have the electric infrastructure necessary for quick charging to allow you to travel between cities reliably in the extreme cold". We can discuss the details - the math shows pretty conclusively how electric vehicles are not an alternative in a lot of situations in the prairies and the north - but it's all stuff I've gone through before. If you're one of the "just switch to electric already!" city-dwellers from lower BC or the Windsor-Quebec City corridor who's never lived elsewhere, you really don't have a frame of reference for this.

"Canada is too cold for electric cars" is a straw-man argument that nobody is making.

  6. So we started our #adventure of #Heavensward (#HW) in #FFXIV by exploring the #architecture of #Ishguard. The Foundation absolutely looks #desolate and the lack of players makes it seem abandoned, adding to the #aesthetics. The surrounding areas feel so vast and empty, adding such a nice charm.

  7. Opinion: A resounding slap in the face for the #desolate #NIS2 implementation

"The German #government received #criticism for implementing the EU IT Security Directive NIS2. More than justified, says Manuel Atug."

"The Ministry's [ #BMI ] #unwillingness to learn and stubborn behavior is rightly #criticized at every turn."

  10. I don't travel much, but I was in New York City recently, and ended up on the highway outside of the city.

The fact that this landscape in was so close to how "Jersey" is depicted in is absolutely hilarious.

(Yes, I know not all of New Jersey actually looks like this. 😁 )
