Desperté al sistema luego del suspend, y al ratito volvió a apagarse :sad_but_cool:
Conclusión: parece que lo del botón de encendido no es el problema.

Uso deskflow para compartir teclado y mouse desde mi pc (la que se apaga) como server, contra un cliente kali linux.
He lsído reportes que dicen que si está desactualizado puede generar inestabilidad.
Actualicé deskflow a deskflow-git desde AUR en @archlinux.
Veremos qué pasa.

Ok, y'all, are there any actual, working, mature #Barrier-like #KVM solutions for #Wayland?
I've poked around, but just found a lot of what looks like beta and/or abandonware.
I'm looking for something that works between both Wayland and #X11.
P.S. Deskflow works amazingly well, even between a Debian/KDE/Wayland host and NetBSD/ctwm/X11 client. Massive kudos to the #deskflow devs!

Man, I have missed having a battlestation to work at these last few months. It's nice to sit at one again, even if it's only a 'chicory battlestation'.

My hotel WiFi quite sensibly doesn't let devices talk to each other. Which is annoying because I usually use #Deskflow to control my work and home laptops through one keyboard and mouse to avoid swapping.
(Yes there are ways I could work around this. No I can't be bothered)

Qué gran descubrimiento #deskflow... (otro) fork de #barrier para usar un solo teclado y mouse en varias computadoras de la LAN.
Barrier está abandonado, pero era la alternativa en #Kalilinux, y usaba #inputleap en @archlinux, otro fork compatible.
#Deskflow es otro fork de barrier, también compatible, y proyecto activo... va muy bien de momento, recomendado.
Todo #opensource en #gnu #linux, como corresponde 😃

@geekland Buen dato, estaba usando el viejo #barrier en #kalilinux y el #inputleap en #arch, ahora probé conectar ambos hosts con #deskflow y va de maravilla... y parece que el proyecto está bastante activo.

Deskflow habe ich jetzt das erste Mal ausprobiert, da es bei Zorin 18 Pro vorinstalliert war. Tastatur, Maus, Zwischenablage teilen sich zwei Computer im gleichen Netzwerk.
Ausprobiert zwischen Win-PC und Zorin-PC = klappt nahtlos.

Moved my work environment from Synergy 3.x to DeskFlow for sharing KB/Mouse across devices. Synergy was OK, but I added a Raspberry Pi 4b+Monitor and Synergy doesn't have ARM builds.
Moved the Pi from Labwc/LXDE to X11/KDE since DeskFlow doesn't work with LXDE but honestly I'm happier with that setup anyhow.
Now it's all happy and I can control everything (plus copy/paste).
Had to do a manual config for my deranged layout. Names changed to protect the guilty.

@nemo Unfortunately, #InputLeap has dropped official support for 32-bit platforms and talking to #Barrier or #Synergy. #DeskFlow is an alternative that adds support for newer technologies like Wayland while maintaining compatibility with legacy Barrier and Synergy clients so you can still interact with older hardware.

Started to implement a better personal-work split on my machines. Now I no longer keep a copy of my memex on my work machine, instead I keep my laptop on my desk and switch between them with #Deskflow . It's not ideal, I'd rather keep only one machine powered on, but I also don't want to risk my #privacy. I'll experiment with letting the laptop go to sleep and auto-reconnect when it wakes. Maybe Deskflow could send a #wakeOnLan packet?
