#Germany's Culture Minister #WolframWeimer of the #CDU is a former leading journalist, and now an extreme right culture warrior who suppresses critics of #Israel and of #imperialism, and denounce supporters of #Palestine for "#antisemitism". In 2017, #Weimer condemned #UNESCO as ideologically controlled by despots, Islamists, & left-wing ecologists. He uses security services to censor cultural awards.
