Twenty Nations Will Accept Illegal Aliens From America

The Trump administration’s enduring efforts to bring down the number of illegal aliens still present in America achieved a huge breakthrough deportations as twenty nations have formally agreed to accept the said illegals, according to a Newmax news report. This development could lead to an acceleration of deportations.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio said Wednesday that the United States has secured agreements with 20 countries to accept migrants living in the U.S. illegally who refuse to return to their home nations, describing the deals as a key part of the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement strategy.

Rubio said the agreements allow the United States to deport certain illegal aliens to so-called “safe” third countries when returning them directly to their countries of origin is not possible.

“A part of securing our border is dealing with the people that are in this country unlawfully, many of whom do not want to go back to the country that they originally came from,” Rubio said during a Cabinet meeting at the White House.

According to Rubio, the threat of deportation to a third country has also encouraged some illegal aliens to voluntarily return to their home countries.

“What often happens when you go to the person who’s here unlawfully and say, ‘We’re going to send you to this third country,’ is all of a sudden they decide they’d rather go back to their home country instead,” Rubio said.

Immigration enforcement and deportation policies have remained central priorities for the Trump administration, which has argued tougher enforcement measures are necessary to deter illegal immigration and strengthen border security.

ICE clusterfuck. Sheer incompetence on display. Agents insisted on putting a voluntary Indian deportee on a flight from Seattle to Alaska. He had paid for his own return flights home.
Despite warnings from airline personnel that this was not the correct flight, ICE forcibly boarded him. He was actually booked on a flight to New York City. The man was stranded in Alaska and then sent back to a detention facility before being returned to India.

"According to a contract document reviewed by The Intercept, federal contractor #UniversalStrategicAdvisors will provide services pertaining to #ICE’s 'non-detained docket,' a master list of millions of #noncitizens believed to be removable from the United States but not yet in the agency’s custody.

"The contract cites President Donald #Trump’s declaration of a #NationalEmergency on the #USMexicoBorder, an overwhelming glut of potential #deportees, and a shortage of officers to process them all as justification for hiring a private vendor to assist with the collection of biometric data, coordinating removals, and monitoring #immigrant populations.

"The document says that with a fleet of new outsourced employees, ICE can reassign hundreds of officers to tasks that better align with Trump’s recent executive orders aimed at maximizing the agency’s detention and deportation operations. With the contractors onboard, the document says at least 675 ICE officers 'will be able to take all appropriate actions to comply with the EO’s by prioritizing conducting at-large arrests, removals, and detention related activities.'

"A former ICE official, who spoke to The Intercept on the condition of anonymity, said they were concerned by this plan to further privatize the agency’s operations at the same time as the Trump administration has dramatically slashed its workforce and gutted important oversight bodies like the Office for #CivilRights and #CivilLiberties, as well as the Office of the Immigration Detention Ombudsman. "Gladys and Nelson Gonzalez have called the United States home since 1989. Their three daughters, now grown, were all born and raised in California.

The couple led Bible studies at their Southern California church and volunteered at food pantries during the Covid-19 pandemic.

'For nearly four decades, they have built a life here — raising three daughters, giving back to their community, and recently welcoming their first grandchild,' their daughter Stephanie Gonzalez wrote on a GoFundMe page for the family. 'Now, they are being treated as criminals.'

Last month, the parents checked in at an immigration court in Santa Ana, just 'like they have been doing since 2000,' Stephanie wrote in an email to CNN.

But this check-in ended with a much different outcome.

The couple was arrested and handcuffed during their February 21 appointment and put in federal custody, where they spent three weeks before being deported to Colombia.

'They did expect that they would need to depart and were planning to do so, but not in the way that it happened,' said Monica Crooms, an Orange County-based immigration attorney who started working with the couple in 2018.

'We didn’t expect that they would be apprehended and held in custody. And again, it’s not really unique to them anymore. It’s happening across the country,' Crooms told CNN, pointing to recent immigration policy changes in the US two months into the current administration."

There is absolutely no reason to trust US statements in any way, not even head counts. If anything the working assumption should be that, unless and until otherwise identified, they are all US citizens guilty of no crime. This situation is reprehensible regardless of their actual nationalities, and compounded by the regimes actions in court we shouldn't at all dismiss the possibility that the US has gleefully deported it's own citizens, and sold them into slavery
