I just finished reading and listening to the ebooks/audiobooks of 'Feedback' and 'A Change of Plans' by Dennis E. Taylor. It's from the same author who wrote the Bobiverse series.

These two were short stories, one 33 minutes and the other 44 minutes. I really liked them and again, I highly recommend it. 👍🏿

Finished Bobiverse 3: All These Worlds on the run and instantly dove into Bobiverse 4: Heaven‘s River. That‘s a great distraction from the cold. Didn‘t sleep enough, it was my own fault, and I paid for it this morning by not getting *into the groove* for quite some time. It was cold and still windy, but better than yesterday. It‘s hot, really hot today. And I was late to get out of the house. But a little thinking helped me find the (almost) perfect route which kept me mainly in the shade. That was great, and since I had lots of fun, I just ran on and on, listening to FLYBOT, the new Dennis E. Taylor novel. The new “Audiobook only” distribution model of #DennisETaylor”s #bobiverse stinks and I will not subscribe to Audible just because I want to **read** a book. After looking forward to his new book for a long time he lost me as a reader, because I feel netflixed.
What #SciFi #book’s should I read instead?

I have finished Earthside by Dennis E. Taylor. Unfortunately I really just don't have much good to say about this book. I never found it quite so offensive to DNF it, but there's quite a bit of bad here. Gave it a 3 out of 5, but I feel like I'm being generous with that.

I'm 18% into Earthside already. I'm happy to report that so far coffee has not been the primary concern in the book. It's becoming apparent at this point, though, that Taylor really needs to improve his character work. They are largely unrecognizable from one another aside from the skill they bring to the table. It feels like it's written by a project manager.
