1. Why would anyone in 2026 call it news that Microsoft is facilitating the identification of individual computer users?
2. I haven't had to work with a Windows registry in a long time, but wouldn't "HKCU\\SOFTWARE\\Microsoft\\IdentityCRL\\ExtendedProperties." identify the individual user AND the device, rather than just the device, since the CU in HKCU stands for "current user"?

But the Municipality of Lund where I am, as of recent, a member of the board of education has Edge as the ONLY allowed browser for accessing the intranet on their iOS iPads.
