Obviously, there's zero actual discernment in their selection of whom to "interview" (aka send generic questions to via email). Not only do they platform anti-vaxxers, but this anti-vaxxer "positive thought" her way into believing she was WORTHY and DESERVING of being scammed and that this was a GOOD THING, and she weaponized "safe space" language in her "interview" in admitting her anti-vax stance.

Charles Tennyson’s self-importance was based on his perceived notion of entitlement. He had his heart set on a peerage that was linked to the Barony of d’Eyncourt, a title that had been in abeyance for over a century. He would pester his father to change the family surname to d’Eyncourt, which he didn’t. He did eventually persuade him to add a codicil to his will to that effect though.
He failed to achieve any of the above.

Tennyson was the uncle of Alfred, Lord Tennyson whose work he called ‘horrid rubbish indeed, a discredit to British taste.’ I bet the roof lifted off his fine manor house when he heard Alfred had been offered a peerage.

The sleaze at #SCOTUS is obviously bad on its own but the entitlement makes me think the culture of the bar and top 50ish law schools is a huge part of the problem. There’s a tendency to tell law students they’re Very Special and have been taught to “think like a lawyer.” Which *dismissive_wank.gif* I think most lawyers know it’s just flattery and culture building but enough seem to really believe it and conclude they shouldn’t be subject to oversight.
