To celebrate 45 years of IBM PC (today!🥳), I bought a "new" workstation. In this case, a used Lenovo P510 that's twice the age of my Dell Precision.
It's heavy, it's huge, it's BEAUTIFUL! Screw all your tiny laptops. A real PC needs to have expansion slots for off-the-shelf components. It needs to grow and evolve with you.
Also, it needs to have life beyond planned obsolescence. Meaning: you put Linux on it, of course.

I'm not really sure what changed. I get the same image from qcam. Cheese knows the camera but shows nothing from it. Likewise the gstreamer command line fails to show image and firefox seems to show no image.Chromium gives an image but of lower quality than even that of qcam (that is grained).
