Hey folks, here's my latest #SegaGenesis music cover, Demitri's theme from DarkStalkers 2! I made this to pitch in to the homebrew project to do a port of the game to the Genesis.

Interesting bits: I never heard this song in full until yesterday, lol. I'm not a DarkStalkers fan, myself. It took a total of maybe 6 or 7 hours to do from start to finish. I also did the character select screen music for the game. I probably won't have time to do much more, sadly.

If you are not a professional composer, then tools like LMMS / Fruity are appealing. Unfortunately there remains the huge issue of finding good sample sets.

#Chiptunes allow you to use banks of presets and the end result generally sounds more cohesive and retro (if thats what you are going for).

Good news: I'm doing a new chiptune cover that I'm going to incorporate into it to show you how I do things!

Welp, gonna squeeze one final video out before the end of the year tomorrow night. It'll be the final entry in my tutorial series on how to make Sega Genesis music with Delfemask.

I started it toward the beginning of this year with the goal of finishing it this year and, well, I will! Although I'm cutting the amount of episodes by one since it was a less popular series than I'd hoped.
