Long before Brady C. Olson of Iowa became the 2016 satirical presidential candidate Deez Nuts, a friend of mine would run half-assed campaigns with catchy slogans such as "Ben Dover for your next President."
He ran a computer bulletin board system (BBS) named Campaign Headquarters. I think I still have some wooden pencils imprinted with his many catchy (and often inappropriate) slogans.
When he married, we joked that his wife's name was Ilean, Ilean Dover.
Thanks to Trump, he still wouldn't be the least-qualified person on the ballot.
