Sh2-142: The Wizard
Discovered by Caroline Herschel in 1787, Sh2-142 is an open star cluster ~20ly across located ~8.5kly distant. A beautiful emission nebula and star-forming region.

"An Oasis"
Properly known as vdB 48, I don't know if it has any pseudonyms but I loved the mixture of reflective, dust and Ha. vdB is one of my top-3 favourite catalogues.
Some day I'll try this again with a more intentional composition and maybe not forget to cover the light-leaks whilst shooting. Meanwhile, here goes something...

Lobster Claw and Bubble Nebulae
Lots happening here - 3 obvious bright emission nebulae and my first Herbig-Harbo object (HH-170), a tiny grey fuzzy reflection nebula surrounding a newborn star just above the centre of the frame.
About 20hr data on these well-known objects in Cassiopeia and Cepheus. Nebulae processed in the HaHOO palette; stars overlayed in real colour.

Mniej strat i brak brak efektu rotacji pola.Na pierwszy ogień poszła galaktyka M51, ale właściwym obiektem na noc 22 marca miała być Mgławica Pelikan (IC 5070). No i coś tam wyszło.
Smażenie od ok. 0:30 do 4:30. Tryb mozaiki.Zdjęcie to efekt złożenia 310 klatek po 20 sekund każda.
Oczywiście problem świateł wielkiego miasta i siatki na balkonie chwilowo nierozwiązany. ;-)

The Iris Nebula
NGC7023 aka the Iris Nebula is a reflection nebula 1300 light-years away in Cepheus, about 6 light-years across.
It's particularly impressive caught in the middle of LDN1170, the large swathes of brown dust swirling around.

Yup, it’s the Pleiades again. I needed to test some toys…
Pentax Takumar 300mm f/4 lens - the 18-blade aperture iris is crazy, as were the star halos before I fixed them.
Skywatcher Star-Adventurer mount (haven’t used in ages).
Fuji X-H2 - pixel-shift at 60s subs is amazing.
An hour’s data plus calibrations, processed in #AstroPixelProcessor, #PixInsight and #darktable (#artwithfoss 😀).#astrophotography #scotland #photography #pleiades #messier45 #fujifilm_xseries #universe #deepskyobject
