Frying in Hebrew is לטגן /le-ta-'gen/

For deep frying we add בשמן עמוק which literally means - in deep oil /be-'she-men a-'mok/

So to deep fry in Hebrew would be לטגן בשמן עמוק /le-ta-'gen be-'she-men a-'mok/

I find air "fryers" (actually compact convection ovens) are great for roasting things. I use mine constantly.

For some reason I don't like the idea of heating a pot of oil to a high temperature to cook things — fire danger, oil disposal, so much fat, etc. - Plus MUCH more time required overall than air fryer, which is QUICK.

But that's me. Still, nothing wrong that I can see with roasting.
