I guess they do expect people to magically become as they please, like, everyone will suddenly be #good and #nice and #kind and #decentHumanBeings if the government does its job, being a #criminal isn't worth it, everyone stays in their countries to improve them, so on. That's the attitude of many conservatives I know in Spain, and that's what I tend to call neoconservatism.
Breaking news, the world isn't simple, it didn't use to be simple, what you think the world should be is not only supercomplex but also unjust and unfeasible.
