When the Europeans arrived in #India beginning 16th century, the Indian #Artists were quite fascinated by them, the language, culture, clothing etc.
They too became a 'subject' of #Art or #IndianMiniaturePainting like this 'Dutch Couple' where the artist has added the 'bindi' on the woman's forehead to cater to his client's need, perhaps the couple wanted it this way.
