  3. I watched Death's Game after Lee Sun-Kyun's death, and it made me really reflect about the consequences of a suicide on the survivors. A stellar story in eight episodes.

  4. The last episode of #deathsgame had me SOBBING 😭

  5. The lovely thing about #DeathsGame is that you get to see many great actors in one drama at the same time, including Kim Jae Wook as one of the best characters in this show.

  6. Jokes aside, #DeathsGame is incredibly well-written and structured. It's been a long time since a #Kdrama has kept me surprised.
    It's an interesting blend of fantasy, supernatural horror, murder/mystery and romance. Usually a drama would self-combust if it tries to juggle so many genres at the same time, but the writer manages it all like an expert.
    It is also surprisingly deep and moving. Highly recommended.

  7. #kdrama Death's Game ep 4

    I'm dropping it. One thing I absolutely can't watch and stomach is child abuse, in this case it's even worse because it's a baby.

  8. Just finished watching "Death's Game" #kdrama. It was good. #deathsgame

  9. CW: Rant mode, re: #MyDramaList database

    The #MyDramaList Asian movie and TV database doesn't have the best minds.

    Last month, they implemented a "new" rule that they will follow episode listings for #Kdrama based on how the episodes are listed in Korea.

    This was the rule they cited to justify their decision to split #DeathsGame into Parts 1 and 2.

    (One main staff even had the audacity to blame Korea for the confusion in MDL. Like, LOL, MDL doing its own thing is what's causing confusion in the first place!)

    I told them that the best solution is to WAIT if the official source will reset the episode count back to E01.

    Nope. MDL did their own thing still, stood by their own "new" rule.

    Guess what? They were utterly wrong.

    * TVING official episode listing: tving.com/contents/E004083443

    * Even their International OTT partner followed TVING: amazon.com/Death/dp/B0CP7PVZPM

    As per the OFFICIAL sources, Season 01 episode counting is from 01 to 08.

    Contrary to the claims by MyDramaList that Korea caused the confusion by splitting the show into Part 1 and Part 2.

    Clearly, there is no evidence to back the claim of #MDL that
    1. #TVING split the show to Parts 1 and 2.
    2. The episode count was reset back to E01 for the remaining 4 episodes.

    They refused to listen to my suggestion, so now, they just created a whole mess of their database and community.

    Korea is not making things confusing, it is their staff that is making things confusing. All they have to do is follow the official sources, as they claim they are doing (but not).

    If the official source listed the episodes like this:

    * S01 Part 1 E01, 2, 3
    * S01 Part 2 E01, 2, 3

    Then we follow that and split the show into Parts 1 and 2.

    Otherwise, if the official source listed the episodes like this:

    * S01 E01, 2, 3
    * S01 E04, 5, 6

    Then we should follow that REGARDLESS when the other episodes were scheduled to be released/aired.

    Everyone else, like TMDb, IMDb, etc., are following the official sources. But MDL wants to do its own thing, then blame Korea for causing confusion.

    I called them out for one last time. If they don't fix this, then that's the final nail in the coffin: they lie about following Korea's style.

  10. @KDramaQn looking forward to it too! I'll be watching it once all episodes are available
