@AnyWorker Before considering buying something. Here is a cheap approach:
1. visually sort out the best looking cables, maybe also according to length. All other cables go to ”to the recycling yard” pile.
2. Use some ”advanced” devices that match the cables you sorted out: camera(s), phone(s) and a computer/laptop
3. Start a small image transfer with each cable. Worked? Consider cable good. Did not work? Put in yard pile.

Part of cleaning my mother’s house was bagging all the spices and dragging it all home. I have enough poultry seasoning and thyme to last until the end of days. LOL. Tossed stuff that was very old, Best By dates more than a few years all was pitched. So now, we have to shop the basement spice cache first. Plus, Marjoram. Five bottles of Marjoram. I was ambivalent about the Peacock reality show but intrigued by the idea of Swedish Death Cleaning, so I went to the source and am enjoying it a lot more. Magnusson's pragmatic approach and authentic voice are more appealing than Poehler's snark, and at barely 100 pages, it's refreshingly brisk and focused.
