If you’ve seen #BenPlatt in the Pitch Perfect movie, or watched his Tony-Award-winning performance in #DearEvanHansen, then you already know that he has excellent vocals.
I have been enjoying a lot of his solo material he’s released in the past few years. And if you haven’t heard of any of them, I think a good representative is this lovely slow ballad, “So Will I”.

No vi la película porque aunque Waving Through A Window y So Big, So Small me destruyen siento que poner a Ben Platt como Evan con la edad que tiene me pareció una pésima movida. Aunque él haya sido Evan en el escenario siento que en la película no se logró y eso que vi el trailer y un par de minutos de algunas escenas.

The part of #DearEvanHansen where the grieving parents assume the note the found in their son’s pocket addressed to Evan (which was actually Evan’s therapy exercise) was his suicide note and that Evan was his best friend and the whole situation is too awkward to clear up in the moment so he just rolls with it and the lie snowballs into more lies sounds like the plot of a George-Michael Bluth arc on #ArrestedDevelopment

So I have just seen Dear Evan Hansen on Broadway and, which I am not normally a musicals kind of guy, I have to say that it was fantastic. The guy playing the lead, Andrew Barth Feldman, is only 17 years old. I thought his performance was spectacular and I don't just mean his singing, his acting was amazing. I'd go so far as to say he was the Broadway equivalent of Dustin Hoffman in Rainman. Awesome.
