In the #DeadWax #music show #JackConte played a track segment from #TheVernonSpring and I was like:
"What is that!?"🤯Immediately looked up The Vernon Spring on #Bandcamp, and his unique sound is there labelled as #electronic #jazz with #solo #piano 🎹, however I think those tags don't do it justice at all. 😠
Therefore I would like to suggest the better description (and perhaps new genre):

Your fifteenth recommendation for this month is Deadwax, a limited series that adds up to just about the same runtime as a standard feature film. On Shudder here in the UK, and hopefully on there in other territories, it's an enjoyably creepy piece of work I recommend to those who enjoy atmosphere and impressive audio work.

So, thanks to #deadwax I discovered the band Big Thief. Not a new outfit, but I hadn't heard of them before.
