It's wild to hear people say Deadpool & Wolverine didn't take itself seriously enough.

IMHO, it's the exact opposite. It took itself WAY too seriously, sanding off the edges to try to tell a grand, sentimental story. I think it was trying to do so ironically, but instead it just did the thing.
