Ah, Stephanie Sterling, thank god for them and their video essay called, "Dead Island Deserves Its Due". They defend this game and explain the parallels found with Dying Light. Also, Stephanie is explaining their odd relationship with Dead Island. It brings me joy to listen to their opinion, as I often find myself aligning with their thoughts on most points, not all.

Got Dead Island 2 for free from Epic and it's hilarious. Movement feels a little slow at times, probably a bit too realistic for my taste. Still really fun, the dialogues are so silly, it's fantastic. I didn't manage to block a single attack though lol, guess I'll focus on some other aspect of fighting. And holy the reviews did not promise too much considering the gore. :D
