Feeling annoyed by Netflix practice of making good shows and cancelling them after one season. It's so often the weird genre stuff I like. Just watched Dead Boy Detectives followed by Lockwood and Co and enjoyed both a lot, was looking forward to where they would go next. I should really know better. Still mad about Crazy Head and so many others.

At least these two have source material I can now go and read instead.

Watched some Dead Boy Detectives during my trip and enjoyed it. Giving me flashbacks of Buffy with their mix of humor and the grotesque. Even some Scooby Doo references in the first few episodes.

Ich habe gestern mit #DeadBoyDetectives auf #netflix angefangen und mir die ersten zwei Folgen angesehen, vor allem, weil ich gerade in einer #pnp #wraith Runde spiele und mir das im Trailer genauso vorkam, wie unsere Runde, nur 200 Jahre später.

Man muss an der Stelle wissen, dass #neil_gaiman seine Finger mit im Spiel hatte und es am #Sandman orientiert ist (z. B. kommt Tod vor). Wer die Serie mochte, sollte bei den Dead Boys auf jeden Fall reinschauen, es ist bisher herrlich schräg.

Just finished watching the #DeadBoyDetectives and really enjoyed it. Unique and interesting characters along with wild magic made for an engaging watch. Loved the villains like the witch #Esther and the antihero #CatKing. I only hope that #Netflix will actually commit to this #TVShow and it won't end up on the scrapheap along with #LockwoodAndCo and #theirregulars.
