Самодельный DDNS

Продолжаю развивать свой домашний сервачок, для удобного добавления сервисов понадобились поддомены . Так как за статический IP своему провайдеру я платить не хочу, то я использовал DDNS от TP-Link. И адрес выглядел https://my-adress.tplinkdns.com . TP-Link даёт только один поддомен и поддомены 2-го уровня создать нет возможности. Поэтому думал использовать ddclient и Cloudfare. Выяснилось что Cloudfare больше не работает с ru зоной. Вот расисты!

Testing https://dynip.dev, a new dynamic IP service from Sweden with RFC2136 TSIG, DNSSEC, IPv6 etc. Looking good so far. I already created a zone for one of my domains and will now see if I can use this for my homelab to expose public services.

Bisher laufen selbst getötete Dienst bei mir auf einem #ThinClient im VPN. Um darauf per #Wireshark von fremden Windows-Rechnern zuzugreifen brauche ich leider gehobene Rechte 😔
Cloudflare hat mich von seiner Vertrauenswürdigkeit bisher nicht so recht überzeugen können. Ggfs. wäre eine #DDNS-Freigabe nur für die interne IP des #Obsidian-Containers ein Kompromiss...

I may or may not be addicted to docker and nginx reverse proxy. From my home connection I'm hosting game servers, little web apps and tools, and this very mastodon instance. All behind Cloudflare's DNS proxy with their wonderful 15-year SSL certs.

Who would have thought Raspberry Pi tinkering would have led to this? (The whole point, right?)

Как существенно экономить на облаках, если РПС низкий

Сижу и вспоминаю, что давно хотел сильно уменьшить плату за облака, где крутятся петпроекты и несколько проектов клиентов. У всего этого добра запросов мало, но не мало оперативной памяти требуется. Утечек нет, просто все вместе тратит около 2,5к в месяц и за год набегает 30к, которые могли бы остаться в кармашке. Все это не убирает полностью затраты на сервер. Мне все еще нужно арендовывать облако с белым ip, но делается это теперь в месяц за 150р, а не за 2,5к. В год 1,8 к против 30к.

With all the suggestions of using a dynamic #DNS solution, I decided to just write a script that will alert me to when my IP address changes.

This seems simpler to me as it doesn't require me to learn the ins and outs of using #DDNS for multiple domains that are pointing towards #Docker containers.

If it was just one domain, I'd take do it.
