These benches and this table have been painted almost like the wartime "dazzle" camouflage used on ships in WWI & WWII, presumably to confuse any U-boats lurking in the nearby Union Canal.

For #SchiffsSamstag this is Liverpool's Dazzle Ferry, Snowdrop, crossing the Mersey in 2021. The colourful, distinctive artwork on the vessel's hull is by pop artist Sir Peter Blake, who you may know designed the artwork for the cover of the Beatles album Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, amongst other things.

Looks like they employ a bit of #DazzleCamouflage with that white crescent on the head. Similar to certain plovers in the US. 😊

Just had an email come in with the subject dazzle for the holidays, and the idea of having black and white hair in the #DazzleCamouflage style just popped into my head.

I think it would have to be a wig though, I don't want to bleach my hair enough to go full on white.
