Gooood mornin fedifam
Im up early after a dear friend call. She is still getting used to graveyard shift and I keep her awake on the drive home..
Not sure what today holds, but Id bet on a nap sometime this afternoon and outside shot at some grocery shopping.
Now go out there today and be that awesomeness you are!

It was confirmed yesterday in our team meeting, that our entire department will be off December 21st - 25th for Christmas holidays!
We'll then go back to work for 2 days and then have another 2 days off!
Plus, we get paid for the 23rd, since that would normally be a work day for us and we don't have to use any of our own PTO or anything similar.
Good to be working for a company that takes care of and appreciates their employees!

2- on these slow first mornings off, I sit at the computer, read, write, scroll eat and drink (modest amounts of) coffee.
I had some fruit with vanilla yogurt as a second #breakfast course (after veg soup and cheese bread), just before 2nd small coffee.. and made some #coffee to chill for outside- my first cold one of the year. Will be my first outside with shorts and shoes instead of long pants and rubber boots, too..lol

It’s almost the Easter long weekend. Unfortunately, I don’t get the full long weekend because I have to work Saturday but my boss gave me Tuesday off instead so I still get 4 days, just not quite all in a row.
I do have the next two Saturdays off (pending anyone calling in sick, etc) so that’s ok, I guess.
Happy Easter to those who celebrate. Happy long weekend if you get one. Happy days to those who don’t.

Follow up on previous post (or what was supposed to be a previous post, though I don’t see it anywhere on the timeline 🤔): what started as me looking for a contact on my phone turned into my deleting 15 years’ worth of old contacts. Soooo… that’s something I guess. 🤷🏻♂️ (yes, I did find the contact I was looking for but then forgot to actually call them)
