Ar suprantate, kad esate sąlygoti? Po dviejų tūkstančių metų nuolatinės propagandos – krikšto, mišių, nuolatinio kartojimo, kartojimo, kartojimo – jūs tapote kataliku; arba dėl kitų kartojimų esate hinduistas ar musulmonas – tai tas pats procesas. Ar suprantate, kad jūsų smegenys yra sąlygotos? Suprasti, kad esate sąlygoti, nėra sunku. Kai sakote: „Aš esu britas“ – arba vokietis, rusas, prancūzas – jūs esate sąlygoti. Indas gali galvoti: „Aš turiu didžiausią kultūrą“, bet ta kultūra išnyko; Indijoje jie yra visiškai pasimetę, sumaištyje. Taigi, jei esate sąmoningi, kad esate sąlygoti, ar tas sąmoningumas yra idėja, ar tikrovė? Ar jūs iš tikrųjų esate sąmoningi savo reakcijų?

So, if you are aware of being conditioned, is that awareness an idea or an actuality? Are you actually aware of your reactions?
