Penultimate dram in the calendar was consumed after my annual two-day cooking marathon as guests began to arrive for Christmas Eve. In the bottle was Edradour's Ballechin 18 Batch 1 Cask Strength at 50.9% ABV.
Nice smoky, iodine-y peat and almonds on the nose; citrus, peat, a bit of salt, and maybe some menthol on the palate; with honey and black pepper on the finish. Right up my alley.

My favourite costumes that I saw in 2024 were absolutely in #EmpressKi where I'm told that the costumes were more than half the budget. They were utterly amazing, so colourful and so sparkly! The wardrobe crew must have busy nonstop on that set.
I also loved the costumes in #MyDemon, including Song Kang's fluffy clavicle-bearing sweaters and her sword-dance hanboks.
H/T to hand-knit sweaters in many shows like Virtuous Business. -

The final installment is close to my heart. Nintendo released the Game Boy in the EU in 1990 (1989 in JP/NA). Cartridges („Game Boy Game Paks“) held 32KB-8MB ROM & incl additional RAM banks (8-128KB). While it was originally shipped with Tetris & Super Mario Land, over 1,000 titles were released for the sys.
My specimen is 1993 „The Legend of Zelda - Link‘s Awakening“ and my intro to Zelda.
