Number of cities of over a million inhabitants.

This year just very few plots, but all will be done in #python on my mobile phone. Also I’ll limit my time per chart to 30 mins max. Let’s see how this experiment goes…

I completed #Day01 of #AdventOfCode #2023!

Part 1:
- Difficulty: 1/10
- Workout: 1/10

Part 2:
- Difficulty: 1/10
- Workout: 3/10

Done in a bit more than 3 hours. I hit two dead ends on part 2, believing that word -> digit substitution worked. Not so. Make sure that "twone" maps to 21. Loop from both ends of the string.

Barcelona reminds me so very much of Buenos Aires in so many ways. There are stark differences of course, but the architecture in the neighborhood we are staying at is so very similar to the older buildings in San Telmo (my old neighborhood) it fills me with nostalgia and a longing. I am not Argentine, but Argentina shaped me and is in my soul and forever will be at a cellular level. #Day01 #365happydays2023 #architecture #balconies #photography
