  1. Lunar Blueprints. This morning, before stowing equipment for the duration of upcoming days of cloudy weather, we aimed the 11-inch scope at Earth's Moon. These images were captured at about 7:50 AM EDT, after the sky had turned to blue, lending its color to Moon as viewed from Earth. The 11-inch SCT remains in need of adjustment or, possibly, overhaul but does deliver some pleasing results!

  6. I'm definitely a 'drop everything and photograph the moon' person so I'm excited that the sky has cleared up for the first time in months for this to be possible for me.

  11. Day 16,843.

I've been hoping to shoot , comet c/2022 e3 (ztf), as well as get some horsehead and flame nebula, but the weather has not cooperated at all for a few weeks. Today the clouds did part and let me get some day half moon, which was very nice.

    single exposure
    Nikon D7500
    Nikon 200-500 at 500mm
