    I like it cos it's very old-fashioned. Although it *is* a DAW, it's really reminds me of working with analogue tape / desks. I use the tape emulation and console inserts and the whole mix just glues together.

    (Obviously, you can use those kind of inserts in any DAW but they feel more natural in Luna.)

    If I was gonna try and do a new choon, I would grab, in this order:

    1. Acoustic #guitar
    2. #Piano preset on the nearest keyboard
    3. #MPC
    4. #Deluge
    5. #Maschine
    6. #MC500
    7. #Monomachine
    8. #Atari / #FPGA Atari
    9. Old setup of #808 + two synths
    10. #Octatrack

    This list is the result of comparing all of those for timing accuracy over the last four or so days.
