Trying to get Dawn of War II to work with multiplayer co-op on Linux using the GOG version is an insane process. The closest I can get is having Galaxy services connected in game, but no way to get the overlay to work and show me invites from friends (and no ability to invite friends for same reason)
I'm going to be trying a build of Heroic using this PR today and see if I can finally resolve this:

I am in a bit of a fight with myself here. Warhammer 40.000: Dawn of War - Definitive Edition is out on Steam and GOG. At the time of writing it's 25,69€ on GOG for me and 17,09€ on Steam because I already own the Anniversary Edition.
I'd love to buy on GOG because they are DRM free and you can just archive an installation ISO and be happy.
But most of my internet friends have the game on Steam plus the Steam Linux support with Proton works really nice out of the box. But it's still a company that could turn "evil" at any time.
Where to buy? Where would/did/will you buy? Boost welcome :)
