Aus meiner Privatsammlung gab es heute Abend "Dawn of the Dead", das Reboot von 2004, auf die Augen.
Man begleitet als Zuschauer das längst überfällige Ende von Annas Schicht als Schwester im Krankenhaus und ihren Weg nach Hause. Dann bricht das Chaos aus, Anna muss flüchten und findet sich alsbald mit einer kleinen Gruppe Überlebender in Mitten der ZombieApokalypse wieder.
Ein großartiger Zombiestreifen, wie ich finde mit einer der Besten seiner Gattung. Falls ihr den mal zu fassen bekommt, klare Empfehlung von meiner Seite.

Tonight's viewing distraction: an overdue revisit to a 1970's classic #horror - Dawn of the Dead. For my money the peak of Romero's original zombie trilogy.
Years ago I was lucky enough to see Romero in person, with Diary of the Dead at the Edinburgh FIlm Festival. It may not have been as good as the others, but Uncle George still got a big cheer from the audience, because he was so loved.
