What could Dawkinsesque refer to (and what will pretentious people in 50 years THINK it refers to)?
I'm leaning toward something like "When a once well-regarded intellectual authoritatively posts views on something way outside their narrow field of expertise, immediately dismisses experts and intelligent children who offer correct answers."

Gleichzeitig will ich aber auch nicht bestreiten, dass er brillant schrieb & starke Metaphern geprägt hat.
Wie auch sonst immer widerstrebt mir jeder #Dualismus : Ich möchte Kolleginnen und Kollegen weder einseitig verherrlichen noch verdammen & schon gar nicht den Dialog mit seiner (zunehmend: früheren) Anhängerschaft aufgeben. Ein Freund-Feind-Denken versuche ich auch im Hinblick auf selbsternannte #Brights zu vermeiden. Manche sind ja wirklich klug & also dialogisch unterwegs…

It doesn't matter if you're 85 or 14, a once respected scientist or a lonely teenager: It's not funny. It's sad and dangerous. And I'm willing to bet it could happen to a lot of you.
LLMs tell you what you want to hear in a way you want to hear it. Their ability to fuel delusions is real, and a real danger, especially to the isolated, the lonely, the ignored and the overlooked.

Dawkins wich aus, indem er bemerkte, es blieben ja nicht alle Kinder von Religiösen selbst religiös (was niemand behauptet hatte).

The Selfish Gene (1976) is a pretty good book but has some important flaws. Dawkins's bias towards thinking of digital computers as life-like in terms of information storage, processing, and transmission is evident in one of the sillier ideas in the book (which might have come from the second edition in 1989, I'm speaking only from memory here) in which #Dawkins posits a direct analogy between computer viruses and biological viruses, hypothesizing that computer viruses might soon (from a 70s/80s perspective) evolve to have a more symbiotic function with computing systems, becoming vectors for useful software functionality. This is, and was, a very silly argument, predicated on a misundestanding of how software is unlike biology.
I think that's interesting history in light of Dawkins's recent inability to understand that LLMs are not actually conscious. He's wanted to see software as like life for decades, so he has a motivation to fall for #LLM BS.
Anyway, he's also a jerk.
