My Davis VantageVue reached its 6-year mark and, like the sensor suites that came before it, it died almost as if on cue, no longer transmitting any data to the console.
I'm replacing it with a Davis VantagePro2 Plus, which hopefully can survive longer.
Davis has the worst UX and fewest integrations, but the best accuracy, and with WX instruments, I optimize for accuracy.

Well I've ordered the replacement #Weather station. I'm going with #Ecowitt with haptic/ultrasonic sensor, a TFT display, gateway and air quality monitor. I'll be glad to get my station reporting to #CWOP and #Wunderground again.
This replaces my #DavisInstruments #VantageVue system which failed months ago. Its display and USB-COM serial data logger is just too janky to pay as much as they want to try to replace with working components.
