Mr. Slap Bass as I call him (Davie504, maybe the most entertaining e-bass player at YouTube) claimed to play "The Song of Silence" while being in a special acoustically dead room. He really played it apparently (as far as this is possible on a bass I might add), but as a practical joke, he completely muted the audio.
So he is shown playing something, but nothing can be heard.
Guess what: He got flagged for Copyright Infringement (for "Song of Silence")... for specifically MUTING it over the whole distance.
As he got already various silly totally unjustified copyright claims in the past he's now done with YouTube. And he is by far not the only one affected and ultimately broken by absurd copyright claims.
So bye then Davie, you were magnificent in every video I've seen from you.
But...
...
Srsly WTF, #musicindustry #lawyers: What is WRONG with you?!
#Copyright is abused like crazy, in totally absurd ways, and definitely not helping culture, as it is right now.
It's time for a more bold Creative Commons approach in music. Since digital distribution is the thing nowadays, no one even needs the music industry; but still it's there like nothing happened, with countless amounts of money for lawyers alone. It's nothing but a Mafia structure in my perception. Copyright clearly works against and not for the artists themselves nowadays.

Thanks to @[email protected] for raising my attention towards this. In his German post he mentioned another issue with this: The unsafeness and dependency at ridiculous decisions on commercial social media platforms (my interpretation, he said: "There is no real life on false platforms") . So true.
