"Holiday for Strings", written by #DavidRose, is an instrumental composition best known for its use as the theme song for #TheRedSkeltonShow for over 20 years and as the theme for the Brazilian Game Show Pra Ganhar é Só Rodar o Pião da Casa Própria (To win your own house just spin the wheel) aired by #SBT. "The Stripper" is an #instrumental composed by #DavidRose, recorded in 1958 and released four years later. It evinces a #jazz influence with especially prominent #trombone #slides, and evokes the feel of music used to accompany #striptease artists. "The Stripper" reached No. 1 on #Billboard's #Hot100 chart in July 1962. It became a #goldRecord. Billboard ranked the record as the No. 5 song of 1962.

Try telling that to people in Germany, Belgium and the western seaboard of North America. And this is just one degree of heating.

The media did this, as surely as the fossil fuel companies. Let's not forget those who told us there was little to worry about. People with massive media platforms, who helped push us towards catastrophe.
