The Sixth Finger, a 1963 episode of The Outer Limits. A scientist tries to speed up human evolution. He creates a super-intelligent man, who sadly has a few issues. A bold and interesting episode.

The Man from U.N.C.L.E. was a little before my time. I remember Sapphire and Steel and hadn’t an interest in NCIS. But I very distinctly remember loving the 1970s TV Invisible Man with David McCallum. I was entranced/ weirded-out every time McCallum would remove his wig and face mask to go invisible. Best remembered for the 1960s TV series THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E., costarring #RobertVaughn.

A few of the longer episodes became big-screen releases (esp. outside the US), notably THE SPY IN THE GREEN HAT, costarring #JanetLeigh, #JackPalance & #JoanBlondell.

Decades after UNCLE, McCallum became a regular in the series #NCIS.

At one point, he was married to #JillIreland.

@GottaLaff NGL, McCallum remained in the opening credits past becoming NCIS historian leaving the medical examiner's office at NCIS. (i.e. He wasn't on the show any more) And I wondered why.

I noticed he'd do a single episode each season & I always wondered if Mark Harmon made that possible so that McCallum could still participate in SAG's Healthcare plan in his twilight years. (Mark was notorious for taking care of his cast, even as he was retiring.)

RIP Ducky.
