The "Dawg at 80!" concert looked phenomenal. What an all-star lineup. It's really too bad Tony Rice isn't still with us as he would have been a great addition. Regardless it looked like a special evening.

Vol. 3 - “Alternate Takes" These are mostly just them goofing around and all the sloppy takes that didn't make any final recordings.
Note that Acoustic disc is primarily a digital-only label. You can't buy physical copies, only digital downloads. The good news is they offer a ton of formats including HD FLAC (24 bit / 48 KHz)

Vol. 1 - "Master Takes" All have been previously released. BUT these are stripped down of all other instrumentation and are only the guitar / mandolin duos. They sound fantastic.

#NowPlaying - heavenly. #JerryGarcia & #DavidGrisman's collaborations are the rare CD era projects perfect for vinyl. believe this even escaped the fate of other mobile fidelity releases & actually is farm-to-turntable all-analog. big points for an unusually good translation of CD liner notes to LP, too. scored this at the late lamented record mart, located inside the times square subway station & way underrated as an #nyc record store.

50 years ago today, #sirdougsahm, #jerrygarcia, & #davidgrisman at wally heider’s in san francisco, 2 lovely tunes by a 1-time trio, unreleased until 2003. also garcia’s last pedal steel session outside the dead (besides seastones) & his 1st proper recording with grisman (& seemingly a step towards forming old & in the way the next year).
