Just watched Dave Milner on today's Sunday Shot.

The ABC is censoring one of the four demands by the Arrendte Aboriginal women about Pine Gap.

The slaughter in Gaza is censored.

Below is the letter.
It has four demands.
The ABC article attributed to Emma Masters has only 3 demands. (Next post.)
Left out is any reference to
"4. That the families in Gaza be compensated for all the lives lost there."

Dave does an ok job in the article, staying inside the bounds of considered discourse, writing around the too easily overwhelming nature of the genocide of Australia's original inhabitants. #DaveMilner

John Delmenico then explained the working conditions of most ABC staff; short term contracts, 1 to 6 months, even if you keep doing the same job for 10 years, a contract clause that tries to allow sidelining for any reason. Ita Buttrose has cast a long stink cloud on the ABC.

And Dave's interjection was far too direct for co-host to co-host.
His interjecion was important but he didn't give it the time that something that important needed to be given.
There is a "rush-rush" approach in play on The Sunday Shot. That needs to be ditched when it doesn't support critical functioning - and here Dave needlessly pinned his co-host as, at best, ignorant and thoughtless.

Especially when IDF/Israeli propaganda is massive and ongoing and the likelihood of "Hamas kills civilians" being at least twisted by Israeli propaganda should have been very obvious.
