  3. Luang Prabang by Dave van Ronk performed by Patrick Sky.

    ------

In Luang Prabang there is a spot
Where the corpses of your brothers rot,
And every corpse is a patriot,
And every corpse is a hero.

Mourn your dead land of the free!
If you want to be a hero follow me.
Mourn your dead land of the free!
If you want to be a hero follow me.

  5. Musical Interlude: I just learned today that the late folk legend Dave van Ronk was among those arrested at the Stonewall Riots. He hadn't been at the Stonewall Inn, but had been at a diner down the street and walked down to see what the hoo-ha was about. Once he realized what was going on, he gleefully joined in throwing bricks at the police. That, my friends, is an ally.

"He Was a Friend of Mine," performed by Dave van Ronk.
